Vocalist Angela Lombardo has been singing for Tatervox for more than eight years.
A
graduate of Humber College's music program
in Toronto with further
training in Bel Canto singing, Angela is
constantly in high demand for church celebrations and other musical events
including private functions.
Some
of Angela's signature songs include several Tatervox
originals (You Touch Me) as well as covers like Baby I Love you, Ain't No Sunshine, Bring Me Some Water and Chain of
Fools.
She
cites Elvis Presley, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Krall,
and Eva Cassidy as influences.
Her
charismatic, engaging performance style reflects her love of music and her
strong support of, and connection to, her band-mates.

Percussion/Vocals
|

|
Armand
started out with Tatervox in its early days, but
due to other commitments, he moved aside to let Bob take on the full time
role of drummer for the band.
The band didn't let
Armand get away that fast though - he has recently re-joined us as our
percussionist, and he sits in the back row keeping us on our toes with his
bevy of bells, whistles, congas, bongos and other associated enhancements
to our tunes.

Bob was
recruited by Tatervox in summer of 2000, and
joined the band as the drummer a short time later. Bob's enthusiasm and
tasteful percussion have added a whole new dimension to the Tatervox mix.
Bob swears he's been
kicked out of more bands than some songs have beats n' bars!
Bob is an interior
decorator by profession (and is always re-arranging things on stage on us).
Bob has a message for
all you folks - "Please help us save the whales" - we said we
would!

John
came to us based on a recommendation from our percussionist Armand. It
seems they played together many years ago, but John left quite an
impression on Armand. So much so, that years later
when we were looking for a guitarist, John came to mind. He is multi
talented, in that he writes, plays and sings his
own material.
He takes the lead on
some classic rock tunes, and does the original composers well in his own
renditions of their tunes.
In addition to his
musical skills, John has an excellent sense of humour
and timing of delivery!

Urmas Soomet

Bass guitar
|

|
Urmas Soomet is Tatervox’
bass player and handles most inquiries and performance bookings for the
band.
Owner of Studio 13 in Waterdown, Ontario, Urmas
has earned the respect of his band-mates as well as many others in music
circles throughout southern Ontario.
His experience as a
seasoned musician with background in guitar, tuba, and classical low brass
comes from many years of big band, swing, jazz, folk, rock, and original
music including that of Tatervox.
The Tatervox
Evolution CD was produced at Studio 13 with Urmas’
expertise at the helm.
